prompt was The Cranberries Songs (I chose Zombie)
His head is getting heavy, he can't keep it up any longer. He knows something bad's happening, reaches out for his mom, but there's nothing except the pain at his throat.
His eyes slip shut and the vampire drinking from him let his limp young body drop, tears at his wrist and holds it to the boys mouth.
It's a fight for control. A little boy's soul versus the power of the Anointed One, the full power of the Order of Aurelius brought to bear.
The little boy, Colin, doesn't stand a chance.
From the ashes of the five, the Anointed One has risen.
